The TAFE Virtual Campus site provides a range of services for Victorian Registered Training Organisations including a Learning Management System (LMS) and online enrolment. The information we collect from you is used for the purposes of providing on-line services and support. This Privacy statement applies to the TAFEVC site and does not apply to any web linked sites. It should also be noted that while courses delivered on the TAFEVC are stored on the TAFEVC server the information they contain is managed by the individual RTO delivering the course. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of delivering RTO and any linked sites to familiarize yourself with their privacy policies.

The TAFEVC site does not collect or record personal information, other than that you choose to provide through our help desk, online enrolment request form or events registration.
The TAFEVC web site does not use cookies, but the LMS used by the TAFEVC to deliver courses does. Cookies hold session information for users. Cookies will need to be activated for any person using TAFEVC LMS. For more information about Cookies go to Cookie Central http://www.cookiecentral.com/
When you visit this website our server makes a record of your visit and logs the following Information:
Your server address;
Your top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, .net, .edu,
etc);
The time and date of your visit to the website;
The pages and documents you have accessed or viewed; and

To the extent that this data could make you identifiable, OTTE will not
attempt to identify individuals from records the server generates automatically
unless it is necessary to investigate a breach of law or regulation.

All reasonable steps are taken to ensure that information collected is kept secure and confidential. Our web environment, LMS and databases are protected from unauthorised access using current technologies.

For those who do not wish to transmit specific information across the Internet, the Framework provides alternative ways of providing information. For example, forms may be printed and lodged by facsimile transmission or post.
We do not publish personal information on this website. Email addresses and other personal information you provide will not be added to a mailing list without your consent and will not be disclosed to any other State institution or authorities except if required by law or regulation.
Online Enrolment information is stored on the TAFEVC and passed directly on to the relevant RTO. It is important that information you provide in the enrolment process is accurate and up to date to allow proper processing of your enrolment request. The requested enrolment application information conforms to the AVETMIS (Australian Vocational Education & Training Management Information Statistical Standard) requirements, which all students are required to provide when enrolling.
