TAFE VC catalogue contains a broad range of online
learning resources available for teachers to use
for delivery from the TAFE VC. The Courseware
Catalogue is designed for you to > search or browse
unit/modules > select
a unit/module > preview a unit/module > and request
copy. It's that simple!
All courseware
available from the catalogue is available free for
any teacher to use. Once a resource is located
within your provider area, it can be modified for
your particular use.

The Courseware
Catalogue is being consistently upgraded
with new unit/modules.
In addition, Toolbox materials
are being converted and uploaded for WebCT
use.
The TAFE VC also offers International
Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) modules. The ICDL
is an internationally recognised qualification in
core IT skills.
Please note that some materials on the catalogue
may be superseded with the introduction of
new Training Packages.

Modules in the Courseware Catalogue include:
Assessment
and Workplace Training
The TAFE VC offers 8 units from Certificate
IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.
This
group includes three units focused on planning, conducting
and reviewing assessment, and five related to planning, promoting,
delivering and reviewing training.
How
to use the Internet
Two alternative units are available to give learners an introduction to
using the Internet.
ITG310
Understanding the Internet provides a comprehensive guide to many
aspects of Internet usage including connection issues, using a browser,
searching for information, and using email and discussion forums.
CGEA2GCO3A
Introduction to the Internet for ESL & ALBE Students provides
an easy to follow module in simple language - ideal for
use with teacher guidance to introduce basic Internet skills.
New Horticulture
(Viticulture) Units
A series of ten new units from the Horticulture Training Package - Viticulture
Stream, is progressively being added to the TAFE VC. Currently available
are RUHHRT410A
Implement a Soil Preparation Program, RUHHRT435A
Cost a Project, RUHHRT437A
Establish and Maintain the Enterprise OH&S Program and RUHHRT417A
Deliver on the Job Training. Further new units will be available shortly.
Quality Management
and Assurance
The TAFEVC offers a number of modules from the Certificate IV
in Quality Management and Assurance. These modules include NQ01
QualityConcepts, NQ03
Quality Improvement in the Workplace, NQ06
Internal Quality Auditing and QMA01
Preparing Quality System Documentation.
Tour Operations
This group of five units from the Tourism Training package covers competencies
related to conducting adventure tours in the Australian bush. They include

Conduct Pre-departure Checks, THTFTO02A
Operate and Maintain a 4-WD Vehicle, THTFTO03A
Set up and Operate a Campsite, THTFTO04A
Provide Campsite Catering and THTFTO01A
Operate Tours in a Remote Area.
