e-Works has integrated and embedded five new applications into Blackboard Vista 4.2.2 available from 25/02/2008
The new applications:
- Wimba Podcaster: allow students to download lectures or instructions to an MP3 player.
- Voice Presentation: allow teachers to text or voice annotate a website.
- Wimba Pronto application: an instant messaging and voice chat tool allowing students and teachers to communicate live and online.
- SafeAssign: an anti plagiarism service which scans the internet and detects unoriginal text in students work.
- Scholar: a resource sharing service to find, save and classify internet resources for teachers and students.
The e-Works team has created "How to" videos for teachers and designers.
There are two options available to see the videos. You can either download the flash file to your pc or view via video streaming on YouTube with low video quality.
